We Are Europe is a project piloted by Arty Farty over the last 3 years that has brought together 8 major European events, each comprising both a festival and a forum. They have joined forces to construct and promote new cultural practices, characterised by the exchange and diversity of creation:

— Sónar + Sónar+D (Barcelona-Spain),
— TodaysArt +TodaysArt Context Program (The Hague-Netherlands),
— Unsound + Unsound Discourse Program (Krakow-Poland).
Following 3 years together, the We Are Europe project is evolving and pursuing even more determinedly its aim of promoting artists, thinkers, personalities, actors and anyone else who stands out for their artistic talent, their political engagement and their capacity to drive social and cultural transformation at the European level.
In line with this work, the project will now champion a pool of 64 inspiring personalities – musicians, DJs, journalists, new media actors, authors, philosophers, researchers and cultural entrepreneurs – with the aim of helping them to make their mark, to become more widely recognised, to develop their practices and to collaborate throughout Europe and the world.
On the occasion of its 17th edition, Nuits Sonores is welcoming two partner festivals
— Elevate – Music & Arts & Elevate (Graz-Austria),
— Reworks Festival (Thessaloniki-Greece), each invited to contribute to the programming of artists at the festival in Lyon.
